Ladies
Brooklands Ladies Together (BLT) host events throughout the year geared towards growing relationships and fellowship between ladies within our church while providing an opportunity to invite friends and colleagues along as well.
May last year saw some of the wonderful achievements of the young ladies from Seed of Hope at Vision Africa in Kenya, and an update of what Daniel Achim’s mum and sister are accomplising with the baby unit in Romania, and the St Andrew’s baby unit at Vision Africa.
A very big thank you to Rebecca and Kirsty for their presentations on Vision Africa, to Gemma for the donations for which nearly £200 of the total £330 was raised, and Christine Clark for her talk about her trip to Romania and the exciting things happening there. £50 will be donated to the Romanian baby unit, some raised from the sale of plants etc on the night, and the balance from BLT.
Our most recent event was a retreat in The Peak District where we enjoyed times of devotions, crafts and also a workout session! Some photos are shown below. You can see more on our Flickr channel.
