About Us
We are an evangelical and community church based in Brooklands about 7 miles south of Manchester city centre. We are part of The Church of the Nazarene – a worldwide denomination in the Wesleyan-Arminian theological tradition. We are a church where nobody is perfect but everyone is welcome! If you have never been to Brooklands before hopefully you will be able to find more details on our weekly programme and what church life is like through our website and via our Facebook, Twitter and Flickr channels.
Our Sunday morning and evening services are a great time to pray to and receive from Him as we join together to worship as God’s family. Service times are usually 10.30am and 6.30pm but please check the schedule for any alterations, especially around holiday periods.
We have a full programme on Sunday mornings for children aged 0 to 18 in our Kid’s Church who meet in the back hall and classrooms from 10.45am onwards, after joining the whole congregation for the start of the service.
You are never too young or old to get involved at Brooklands. Many of our senior members gather on Tuesday lunchtimes for the Senior Adult Lunchtime Club (S.A.L.T.). Babies and toddles are also catered for during the week at our Wednesday morning Toddle-In group.
Our lively (and friendly!) youth group known as GenXsus currently meet on a Monday from 7.00-8.30pm. Most activities are held at the church, but on other occasions the teens enjoy trips out and are sometimes hosted by members of the church.
Adults are also encouraged to join one of our cell or house groups that meet on a Wednesday evening.
We also encourage all members to take part in our prayer ministry throughout the week and there are occasional events held for men and ladies groups.
